It’s that time of the year again! The annual Bett (British Educational Training and Technology) show is only a couple of days away. Sound for Schools, returning for the 8th consecutive year, is hard at work in preparation for the event which will take place between 21 and 24 January 2015 at ExCeL London .
For those new to Bett, it is the world’s leading learning technology event and has been bringing innovation and inspiration to the education sector for over 30 years. With over 35,000 visitors expected this year, this is the must-go-to event of the year if you’re an education practitioner.
Summits, Seminars, ICT Exhibitions & Side Events…
Highlights and features of the event include summits, seminars and ICT exhibitions by the world’s leading brands in education technology and esteemed speakers.
The Summit on School leadership will tackle the constantly changing education space and how every school in the UK is looking at how to successfully transition through these changes. At the School Leaders Summit the aim is to address these challenges, offering senior leadership teams of K-12 educational establishments the opportunity to learn, share and discuss the key and current issues facing the sector. With key themes such as STEM, coding and their integration in the curriculum, identifying and meeting SEN requirements, and showcasing the impact of technology in education.
The Technology in Higher Education Summit is a space specifically for higher education professionals to share ideas, discuss future predictions and funnel technology decision-making. Hear from peers as they provide insight into technology that has the potential to enhance student achievement, and how investments in ICT can lower the cost of running institutions in the future. Whether it’s meeting the next generation of student expectations or innovations in e-assessment, it is evident that investing in technology is a must for universities today. The Technology in Higher Education Summit further aims to assist professionals with making purchase decisions related to technology in higher education.
People attend Bett to be inspired and the Bett Arena does just that.
