An overview

  • Your initial hearing consultation will usually contain some listening tests and may involve taking an impression (or moulding) of your ear.
  • Impressions are sent away for manufacture so that your hearing aid or earmould precisely fits the shape of your ear.
  • Your completed hearing aid is tested and sent to your dispenser. It is usually ready to fit in under 2 weeks.
  • Your dispenser uses specialised Widex computer software to optimise and fine tune your hearing aid to your hearing needs. Your hearing aid is now completely unique and personal to you.
