Lawrence Werth 1956 – 2014

Lawrence WerthThe staff and management of PC Werth are sorry to announce that Lawrence Werth, Chairman of PC Werth passed away on 19th August 2014.

Son of PC Werth’s founder, Peter Werth, and a respected figure in the International Audiology Industry, Lawrence had been fighting illness for some time. He consistently amazed friends, colleagues and staff at PC Werth throughout, with his stoic attitude and approach to dealing with his condition. In fact, he had been at his desk the week before he died, and had enjoyed a barbeque with friends over the weekend.

Lawrence made detailed preparations for his extended absence and has been clear on the mandate he bequeaths to PC Werth: The Company should continue to make a positive contribution to the Audiology, Education and Communication Industries. As such, arrangements have been made to ensure that it is completely “business as usual” for PC Werth’s staff, customers and suppliers.

Many customers, suppliers and staff at PC Werth have known Lawrence for many years. The team at PC Werth would like to offer their condolences to our friends at the loss of a loss of a unique and fantastic character who we will all miss.

In line with Lawrence’s wishes, a private cremation on 4th September 2014 will be followed by a memorial service for friends and colleagues in Central London.
