LACE UK Welcomes its First Australian Approved Centre
We are pleased to announce that we have, Today, certified our first LACE UK training centre in Australia.
Based in Waurn Ponds on the southern side of Geelong, south of Melbourne is the Waurn Ponds Hearing Clinic, owned and run by Fiona Sutherland.
Fiona comments ” We find that the hearing aid fittings help most clients but several still struggle in noisy environments and with fast speaking grandchildren. LACE UK training should help them to achieve better results. We chose LACE UK after much research as it will provide my clients with a full fitting and rehabilitation program in an accent they can tolerate. It is important for Antipodeans to keep up our ability to understand the mother language as we are prone to drawling our speech so clients get the aided bonus of a speech training program.”
Fiona has worked in several countries and in all areas of Audiology so her decision to utilise the LACE UK training program is one based on experience and a sound uderstanding of the use and benefits rehabiltation training can bring to form a more comprehensive hearing care solution for clients and to ensure that they maximise their communication abaility.
