The KS8 is an inexpensive portable manual air conduction audiometer well suited for quick and efficient hearing evaluations in schools, industry, and other situations. The KS8 is fully portable and is easily carried in a briefcase or similar bag. A special lightweight carrying bag with shoulder strap is supplied as standard. This will hold the audiometer along with its accessories, including a noise reduction headset, that collectively weighs less than 2.0 kg (4.5 lbs.)

This audiometer has the convenient option of either battery operation or the use of the optionally supplied external power supply. A low battery indicator is included to reliable performance.

The KS8 provides 11 frequencies from 125 Hz to 8kHz over an intensity range of -10 to 100dBHL. The AS208 meets current EN and ANSI standards.
