5 Features and Benefits of PC Werth Hearing Aids
Featuring advanced technology for greater audibility and listening comfort, the PC Werth range of hearing aids are perfectly suited to meet individual needs of every audiologist, ENT professional and the hearing aid user.
PC Werth hearing aids are available in both behind the ear and in the ear models. The K940 BTE hearing aid fitting options include either a slim tube (for open fittings), classic ear hook, or a choice of traditional earmould styles. With a choice of up to five different colours the K940 will suite almost all patient’s preference. The KITE ITE hearing aid is as small as an ear tip and sits in the outer portion of the ear canal making it almost invisible.
1. Adaptive Directional
PC Werth’s K940 hearing aid detects the person speaking in front of the wearer. Automatically configuring the microphone to focus in the speakers direction, whilst reducing environmental sounds coming from other directions. This helps improve wearer comfort in noisier situations. The KITE uses the ear’s natural directionality.
2. Advanced Layered Noise Reduction
Noisy places such as a bustling supermarket, a restaurant or a windy road side can be challenging environments for hearing aid users. The advanced layered noise reduction feature offers speech clarity and maintains comfort in a noisy environment.
3. Active Telecoil (K940)
When encountering a broader sound experience, the wearer may choose from multiple programmes. A dedicated music programme can be offered to improve users enjoyment and comfort. The active telecoil may also be selected giving clearer, more direct listening experience.
4. Tri-Mode Reach
After a long day, the wearer may want to relax in front of the TV. The Tri-Mode Reach feature takes care of the varying sound levels, such as the difference in loudness between the TV and the person sitting close by. The hearing aid will rapidly adjust to and reduce sudden loud sounds from the TV programme. This allows comfortable conversation with family members whilst enjoying a movie together.
5. Data Logging
PC Werth’s hearing aids records the time of programmes used (percentage and hours), environment levels per programme, volume settings and battery use. Thus improving the success of fine-tuning the hearing instrument to the wearers preferences, and reducing the need for repeated visits to the audiologist.
